Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to create a clear starting point for therapy
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans that promote independence
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Monitor patient progress and make data-driven adjustments to treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and practical home programs
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with facility and regulatory guidelines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain one
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous rehabilitation or clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills, with a patient-centered approach

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy assessment and treatment planning
• Skilled in therapeutic interventions to improve ADLs and functional independence
• Ability to document clinical progress accurately and thoroughly
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient and family education
• Comfort working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
