Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic scans
Explain imaging procedures to patients, address concerns, and ensure comfort
Operate SPECT/CT scanners to produce high-quality images
Process images of various body systems for physician interpretation
Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Maintain detailed records of radiopharmaceutical usage and procedures
Stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine technology

Qualifications

Active Nuclear Medicine Technologist license and certification in New Hampshire
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience preferred, but new graduates encouraged to apply
Strong technical and computer skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and critical thinking abilities

Education

An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in operating SPECT/CT scanners and related imaging equipment
Knowledge of radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration
Understanding of radiation safety procedures
Proficiency in Radiant Epic Access
Strong computer skills for image processing and record keeping
