Location: Hilo, Hawaii

Start Date: 08-31-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day Shift: 8-hour shifts - scheduled 40 hours weekly following first week of orientation.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging
Perform quality control on nuclear medicine cameras
Conduct general nuclear medicine imaging procedures
Monitor EKG during cardiac exams
Receive and document radioactive shipments
Perform NRC-required daily and weekly QC checks

Qualifications

ARRT or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Active Hawaii state license or willingness to obtain upon offer

Knowledge & Skills

Radiopharmaceutical preparation
Camera QC
General nuclear medicine imaging
EKG prep and monitoring
Receiving radioactive shipments
NRC daily/weekly QC
Experience with SIEMENS Dual Headed ECAM, CAPTUS 3000, NMISGE, MAC 5000
