Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely per physician orders
• Monitor residents' conditions, assess changes, and report concerns to the care team
• Document care provided and maintain accurate, up-to-date resident records
• Collaborate with licensed nurses, aides, and providers to ensure holistic, resident-centered care
• Educate residents and their families on care plans, treatments, and health maintenance

Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in Maryland
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption per facility policy
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively within a team
• Must provide a valid state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
