Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and positive visit for every patient
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to maintain a safe, clean environment
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed, helping the dentist with accurate diagnosis
• Provide friendly, compassionate care that helps children and families feel at ease
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and support the dental team as needed

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or registration as required by Wisconsin state regulations
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, but enthusiastic and skilled assistants are encouraged to apply
• Current CPR certification is preferred
• Ability to work a 12:30 PM - 10:00 PM shift on Tuesday, September 15, 2026

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, terminology, and sterilization protocols
• Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, patient-first approach
• Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a busy clinical setting
• Basic computer skills for accurate patient documentation
