Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts; clinic hours approximately 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with staggered start times

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide expert cardiac device management for adult and geriatric patients in outpatient clinic and peri-operative settings
  • Conduct remote monitoring for devices from Boston Sci, Medtronic, Abbott, and Biotronik
  • Perform post-operative wound checks and coordinate follow-up care
  • Manage planned clinic visits, peri-operative care, and device consults as they arise throughout the day
  • Collaborate with EP physicians, APPs, device representatives, and the multidisciplinary care team
  • Document and track device data using Epic and Vector - training available if needed
  • Float between Burien, Tacoma, and Gig Harbor outpatient clinic locations as needed

Qualifications

  • Active RN license - willing to wait for WA state license submission
  • Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience
  • Certified Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS) preferred, not required
  • Comfortable with cardiac device management and remote monitoring

Education

  • Common diagnosis / Types of patients Adults & Geriatrics

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of cardiac device management and remote monitoring
  • Familiarity with device types including Boston Scientific, Medtronic, Abbott, and Biotronik
  • Proficiency with Epic EHR; Vector device management system experience is a plus
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with EP physicians, APPs, and device reps
  • Ability to adapt and float between multiple outpatient clinic locations
