Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, promptly reporting changes to nursing staff
- Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety
- Provide compassionate care and emotional support to enhance residents' well-being
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Document care provided accurately and timely
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Delaware
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved medical/religious exemption
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
- Strong empathy and active listening skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
- Attention to detail and observational skills
- Basic computer skills for documentation
