Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, individualized nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians
• Assess and monitor residents' conditions, promptly reporting changes to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with nurses, nursing assistants, and other disciplines to ensure optimal outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Educate residents and their families on care plans and health management

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or multi-state compact license
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting is a plus
• Ability to commit to a 12-hour day shift and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
• A caring, dependable, and patient-focused approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Solid understanding of nursing standards, safety protocols, and infection control
• Capacity to respond calmly and effectively in urgent situations
