Shift Type: Evening shift: Thursday, September 3, 2026, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM with a 30-minute meal break. Per diem scheduling available.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, respectful assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and transferring
  • Observe residents and promptly report any changes in their condition to the nursing team
  • Document care provided and vital signs accurately
  • Support residents' mobility and safety using proper body mechanics and equipment
  • Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment
  • Be a reassuring and friendly presence for residents and their families

Qualifications

  • Current Delaware CNA certification or the ability to meet state requirements
  • Must pass the Delaware DHSS background check and fingerprinting through the approved Background Check Center
  • Must provide a state or federal issued photo ID and wear a photo badge at all times
  • COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical or religious exemption on file
  • Previous CNA experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
  • Registry and per diem professionals encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

  • Solid understanding of activities of daily living, infection control, safety, and patient confidentiality
  • Ability to communicate clearly with residents, families, and the care team
  • Strong observation skills and attention to detail
  • A warm, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work with different teams
