Shift Type: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Shift 2, Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
- Observe and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Delaware
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Must be able to pass a background check through the DHSS Background Check Center
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination or an approved religious or medical exemption
- Must bring a state or federally issued ID and wear a photo badge while at the facility
- Ability to follow care plans and facility policies
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs
- Able to work effectively as part of a care team
- Basic knowledge of vital signs and resident care techniques
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to respond calmly and quickly in changing situations
