Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure comfort and safety
• Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff
• Support residents with meals and hydration, respecting individual needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for every resident
• Document care provided accurately and promptly
• Be a comforting presence and advocate for residents' well-being

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification in Delaware
• Must have or be able to complete Delaware DHSS background check requirements
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
• Ability to provide a state or federally issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• Compassionate, reliable, and ready to jump in and help

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient care and hygiene assistance
• Great communication with residents, families, and the care team
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Ability to stay calm and supportive in a busy environment
• A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
