Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants
• Assess patients' oral health and collaborate with the dentist on personalized care plans
• Take and process dental radiographs while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, nutrition, and at-home care practices
• Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols for every patient interaction
• Work closely with the dental team to create a welcoming, efficient patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Virginia dental hygiene license required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Clinical dental hygiene experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Warm, professional chairside manner and a genuine passion for patient education

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical knowledge of periodontal therapy, prophylaxis, and preventive care
• Skilled in taking digital radiographs and using dental imaging software
• Familiarity with dental practice management and electronic health record systems
• Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
• Working knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
