Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dentists chair-side during procedures, keeping patients at ease
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms for each patient
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist
• Provide patients with aftercare instructions and oral hygiene tips
• Document patient information and maintain accurate clinical records
• Collaborate with a friendly dental team to ensure efficient and excellent care

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification or completion of an accredited program
• X-ray certification and experience taking dental radiographs
• A caring, professional attitude with strong communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• CPR/BLS certification is preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental terminology and anatomy
• Hands-on knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control
• Skill in managing patient comfort during procedures
• Familiarity with dental records and scheduling software
• Ability to anticipate the dentist's needs during treatments
• Strong teamwork and adaptability skills
