Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per Diem (as-needed), Days vary, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Casa De Oro Center
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time
Monitor patients’ conditions, record findings, and escalate changes promptly
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident-centered plans
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the health record system
Support safe admissions, transfers, and discharge processes

Qualifications

Current, active LPN license (eligible to practice in New Mexico)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working per-diem day shifts, including early starts
Strong clinical judgment, solid documentation skills, and a team-oriented attitude
Previous LPN experience preferred

Education

LPN diploma, certificate, or equivalent vocational training

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic wound care
Patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and clinical observation
Accurate charting and experience with electronic health records
Infection control best practices and resident safety principles
Clear communication with patients, families, and clinical team members
