Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem schedule (days vary), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Day

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $29 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
Monitor vital signs and document changes in patient condition promptly
Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Maintain clear, timely charting in the clinical record system
Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and dignity
Participate in care planning and communicate family updates as appropriate

Qualifications

Active LPN license in New Mexico (required)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an accredited provider
Valid immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings
Comfortable working in a facility setting and providing hands-on patient care
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on a team

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic patient assessment and monitoring of vital signs
Wound care, ADL assistance, and infection control principles
Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical charting
Excellent communication, time management, and patient advocacy skills
