Location: Bloomfield, New Mexico

Shift Type: Days not specified, 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM NOC (Night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the overnight shift
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on schedule
Perform timely assessments and document clinical changes in the record
Support residents with activities of daily living and ensure comfort
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans
Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate concerns as needed
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection-control protocols
Communicate effectively with families and shift teammates to ensure continuity

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Mexico
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification — or willing to obtain
Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to meet facility health requirements
Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude

Education

LPN: Vocational/Practical Nursing diploma or equivalent
RN candidates (if applicable): ADN or BSN

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation
Basic wound care and elder care practices
Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting
Time management and prioritization during busy night shifts
Ability to recognize and respond to clinical changes quickly
Team collaboration and clear handoff communication
