Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (multiple shifts available)

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to geriatric residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with mobility and transfer using proper techniques
Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff
Support residents with meals and hydration
Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for residents
Document care provided accurately and timely

Qualifications

Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
Completion of state-approved CNA/GNA training program
Valid CPR certification preferred
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Basic understanding of geriatric care and safety protocols
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Time management and organizational skills
Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
