Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Document care accurately and communicate clearly with team members
• Support patients’ comfort and dignity through respectful, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — required
• Current basic life support (BLS/CPR) recommended
• Comfort working overnight 12-hour shifts and providing direct patient care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; compassion and reliability

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient hygiene, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with basic infection prevention and safety procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients and multidisciplinary teams
• Clear, accurate documentation and time-management on busy shifts
