Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions that follow the supervising OT plan of care
• Help patients rebuild the everyday skills that make independence possible
• Document patient progress accurately and on time so care stays seamless
• Guide patients and families through education that turns small wins into lasting habits
• Keep the supervising OT looped in on patient status with clear, timely communication
• Uphold safety, infection control, and compliance protocols in every interaction

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license, or the ability to obtain one
• Strong teamwork skills and a genuine heart for patient care
• Comfortable working under the supervision of a licensed OT in a skilled nursing setting
• A reliable, adaptable mindset ready to jump into a 13-week assignment
