Roles & Responsibilities

• Bring the occupational therapy plan of care to life through hands on therapy interventions
• Document patient progress accurately and on time so every win is captured
• Coach patients and their families through education that makes daily living easier
• Keep the supervising OT looped in with clear, timely updates on patient status
• Champion safety, infection control and compliance protocols every single shift
• Help patients rebuild confidence and independence in the activities that matter most to them

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license, or the ability to obtain one before you start
• A genuine passion for patient care and helping people regain independence
• Strong teamwork skills and a collaborative spirit
• Comfort working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Knowledge of state and federal therapy regulations and facility guidelines
