Roles & Responsibilities

• Empower patients to regain independence through personalized occupational therapy interventions
• Implement therapy interventions under the supervising OT plan of care
• Document patient progress accurately and timely to support seamless care
• Educate patients and families on strategies for continued recovery and functional independence
• Communicate patient status clearly with the supervising OT to adjust care as needed
• Uphold safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to protect every patient

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license or the ability to obtain one
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills
• A passion for helping patients achieve their functional goals
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed OT
