Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting with dignity and respect
• Take and record vital signs accurately to support nursing assessments and care plans
• Respond promptly to resident calls and communicate concerns to nursing staff
• Observe and report skin integrity changes, perform turning and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries
• Safely transfer residents between bed, chair and wheelchair using proper techniques
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the resident care area, including changing linens and restocking supplies
• Collect and relay relevant information from caregivers, nurses and providers to support continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license — required
• Current CPR certification — required
• Comfortable performing resident transfers, turning/repositioning, and ADLs
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in English (reading, writing, speaking, comprehending)
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining compassion and professionalism
• Reliable, team-oriented approach and commitment to resident dignity and safety

Education

• Current California CNA license (required)
• Current CPR certification (required)
