Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, promoting dignity and independence
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
• Monitor and document vital signs, behaviors, and patient status accurately and promptly
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the nursing team and report concerns
• Support safe mobility and fall prevention by following care plans and safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards in resident care areas
• Build positive relationships with residents and families to enhance quality of life

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Ability to work nights: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday
• Comfortable providing direct patient care in a long-term care/rehabilitation setting
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Willingness to complete facility-required onboarding (orientation, immunizations, background check) as needed

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (typical requirement for CNAs) and completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection control and safe patient handling
• Clear communication and teamwork with nursing staff
• Ability to follow care plans and report clinical changes accurately
