Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Provide compassionate personal care and support to promote dignity and independence
Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report observations to nursing staff
Take and record vital signs, intake/output, and other routine measurements accurately
Support safe transfers and use patient handling equipment properly to prevent injury
Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable environments for residents
Document care and communicate clearly with team members and families

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Completion of a state-approved CNA program
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Ability to pass background check and drug screen as required
Comfort working overnight/night shifts and in long-term care settings
Strong communication skills and a caring, empathetic approach

Education

Completion of a state-approved CNA program; High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and safe transfer techniques
Measuring and recording vital signs accurately
Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
Familiarity with charting and basic electronic medical record entry
Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
Teamwork and positive communication with nursing staff and families
