Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding
Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Support mobility and rehabilitation activities with attention to safety
Document accurate patient information in the chart/EHR to ensure continuity of care
Communicate clearly with nurses, therapists and families to advocate for patients
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection prevention protocols
Bring a positive, team-oriented attitude that lifts patients and coworkers

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
BLS/CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass background check and required immunizations
Comfortable performing physical patient care tasks and safe lifting techniques
Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset

Education

High school diploma or GED required; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of patient care and activities of daily living
Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical assessment
Familiarity with charting and basic EHR documentation
Infection control and safety best practices
Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate bedside manner
Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
