Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and procedures following established protocols to ensure accurate patient results
• Collect, process, and analyze blood, urine, and tissue specimens with precision and care
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments to uphold quality standards
• Prepare reagents, solutions, and media required for testing workflows
• Record and manage test results accurately using the laboratory information system (LIS)
• Adhere to SOPs and safety protocols to maintain a safe, compliant laboratory environment
• Collaborate with laboratory colleagues and clinical staff to support quality patient care and timely reporting

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Laboratory Technician or similar role in a clinical laboratory setting
• Proficiency in common clinical lab areas such as hematology, chemistry, microbiology, coagulation, urinalysis, and blood banking
• Experience working with laboratory information systems (LIS) and accurate record keeping
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and commitment to quality control
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Phlebotomy experience or prior hospital setting experience is a plus
• Willingness to relocate to Culbertson, MT before starting (required)

• Blood banking procedures and reagent preparation
• Operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments

• Accurate record keeping and documentation
