Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents in a long-term care setting
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, mobility and meal assistance
Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff promptly
Support a safe, clean and comfortable environment for residents
Build positive relationships with residents and families through respectful, dignified care
Collaborate with the care team to follow care plans and deliver consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

Active GNA certification or equivalent nursing assistant certification required (state-recognized)
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a strong plus
Ability to pass background check, TB screening and required immunizations
Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently on per-diem shifts

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; GNA/CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing assistant duties and resident care standards
Strong interpersonal skills and a kind bedside manner
Ability to follow care plans and communicate observations clearly
Basic infection control practices and safety procedures
Comfort with lifting/assisting residents and using mobility aids
