Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in AB/OB, GYN and small parts with precision and care
• Optimize images and use sonography techniques to assist physicians in accurate diagnosis
• Provide compassionate patient interaction, explaining procedures and addressing concerns
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation in the EMR
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians and the care team to support patient outcomes
• Adhere to safety protocols, infection control and equipment maintenance standards
• Contribute to a positive work environment by mentoring peers and sharing best practices

Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through ARDMS or ARRT preferred
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required or obtained upon hire
• Proven experience in general ultrasound with strong skills in AB/OB, GYN and small parts
• Comfortable working in a travel/contract environment and adapting quickly to new sites
• Valid state licensure as required by Oklahoma (or ability to obtain)
• Professional communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• Associate degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology or related field
• Graduation from an accredited sonography program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of ultrasound physics and imaging principles
• Anatomy and pathology knowledge relevant to abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic and small parts imaging
• Proficiency with sonography equipment and image optimization techniques
• Excellent patient positioning and scanning workflow management
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation practices
• Attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently
