Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams to aid in accurate patient diagnosis
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort, safety, and understanding
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment while following imaging protocols
• Review images with physicians and collaborate on patient care plans
• Document findings and maintain accurate patient records with confidentiality
• Uphold infection prevention and safety standards throughout every interaction

Qualifications

• Active certification or licensure as an Ultrasound Tech (ARDMS or equivalent)
• Current BLS certification required
• Willingness to complete Trinity specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist
• License and certificate verification required before starting
• Ability to meet personal health history requirements (vaccinations, drug screen, physical, etc.)

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in ultrasound imaging techniques and equipment operation
• Solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic protocols
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
• Strong attention to detail for accurate image capture and documentation
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Knowledge of safety, infection control, and HIPAA compliance
