Shift Type: Day shift options: 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 5:30 PM) or 5x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 2:30 PM), plus 10-15 on-call shifts per month for STEMI and Stroke coverage.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamics throughout procedures
• Administer medications and sedation as directed
• Provide post-procedure care and comprehensive patient education
• Maintain a sterile field and ensure all equipment is ready
• Participate in on-call rotation for STEMI and stroke coverage

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New Jersey or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Cath lab or critical care experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms
• Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring
• Strong patient assessment skills
• Competent in sterile technique
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
