Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures with precision and efficiency
• Monitor and assess patient hemodynamic status and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications and maintain sterile techniques during procedures
• Document patient care accurately and collaborate with the healthcare team
• Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and recovery

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Nevada (or compact) - Nursys verification required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts and pick up call shifts
• Completion of required competency exams and skills checklists

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment
• Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Strong IV insertion and medication administration skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced procedural environment
