Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients in the Cardiovascular Lab, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout procedures
• Monitor and record patients' physiologic and hemodynamic data continuously during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team, communicating any changes in patient condition promptly and clearly
• Assess procedure room readiness, maintain equipment and inventory, and obtain supplies for individual cases
• Address the psychosocial, physical, and general needs of patients in the surgical environment
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities to elevate patient care

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications, obtained before hire and maintained
• At least one year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care unit
• Experience with DCI/BVP procedures is a plus
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Strong ability to monitor and assess patient conditions in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred

• Hemodynamic and physiologic monitoring expertise
• Direct patient care and patient assessment skills
• Cardiovascular lab procedure knowledge (DCI/BVP)
• Equipment maintenance and inventory management
• Clear communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
