Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of technical MRI procedures with limited supervision, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis
• Apply comprehensive MRI safety knowledge to protect patients, staff, and yourself from potential hazards
• Use independent judgment and initiative to adapt procedures to individual patient needs
• Collaborate with the Director of Radiology and Medical Director to maintain the department's consultative service standards
• Participate in quality control, quality assurance monitoring, and continuing education activities to enhance patient care

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Previous experience in MRI within a hospital setting
• ARRT Registry certification and MRI Registry certification required
• CPR certification required
• Venipuncture certification required (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire)
• At least 2 recent supervisory references

Education

• Formal AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols and procedures
• Proficient in radiologic technology and MRI imaging techniques
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and exercise sound judgment
• Skill in venipuncture for contrast administration
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with radiology staff
