Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans to assist in accurate diagnoses
• Administer contrast media following DCI/BVP protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the scan
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure proper functioning
• Document patient history and scan results accurately

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required
• DCI/BVP certification required
• Active state license or ability to obtain license verification
• Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam and Skills Checklist
• Experience as a CT Technologist preferred, but passionate new grads are welcome to apply
• Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screening and background check

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and positioning techniques
• Proficient in operating CT scanners and related equipment
• Understanding of radiation safety protocols
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail for producing accurate imaging results
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality
