Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for progressive care patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, including a large cardiac population
• Manage telemetry and assess patients' cardiac rhythms, intervening quickly when changes occur
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
• Float to inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed, bringing your flexibility and teamwork
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions while maintaining accurate documentation in Meditech
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and recovery

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required before starting
• Active RN license in good standing with the ability to work in Colorado
• Willingness to float across Med/Tele and Rehab units as assigned
• Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Chemotherapy certification is a nice plus for oncology unit coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills for progressive care patients
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and recognizing cardiac rhythm changes
• Comfort using Meditech EMR and documenting accurately
• Flexibility and adaptability to float across multiple units
• Team player with a compassionate, patient-first approach
