Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while monitoring patient responses
• Perform comprehensive assessments and document patient status accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment by adhering to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or a compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in patient assessment, medication administration, and care planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization abilities
• Adaptability to changing patient needs and unit demands
