Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry strips to catch changes early and keep patients safe
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to adults with cardiac and medical conditions
• Assess, document, and communicate patient status clearly with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments while following hospital protocols and best practices
• Respond quickly and confidently to changes in patient condition, escalating when needed
• Educate patients and families so they feel informed and empowered about their care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas (or compact eligibility) in good standing
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• DCI/BVP certification preferred
• Prior telemetry or cardiac step-down nursing experience preferred
• Newer nurses with strong telemetry skills are welcome to apply
