Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver gentle, thorough cleanings that keep patients smiling with confidence
• Capture quality dental radiographs and document findings accurately
• Perform periodontal assessments and charting to track patient progress
• Educate patients on home care, nutrition, and prevention in a way that sticks
• Support the dentist during exams and treatments as part of a tight-knit clinical team
• Keep instruments, operatories, and sterilization protocols spotless and compliant

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Comfortable working with patients of all ages and backgrounds
• Strong chairside communication skills and a genuine care for people
• New grads and experienced hygienists are both warmly welcomed

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with dental practice software and digital charting
• Solid grasp of infection control and sterilization standards
• Periodontal assessment and radiograph technique
• Great time management so appointments run smoothly
• Friendly, reassuring bedside manner that puts patients at ease
• Team-first attitude and willingness to jump in where needed
