Shift Type: Night shifts, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, with every other weekend required; must be willing to float to other units as needed; blocked scheduling will not be approved; no on-call required.

Candidate Pay Rate: $31.50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living according to personalized care plans.
• Help with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, and lifts.
• Coordinate dining room services at mealtimes, including setup, cleanup, tray delivery, feeding assistance, and meal intake documentation.
• Deliver nutritional supplements at assigned times and support residents to ensure intake.
• Weigh residents according to facility policy and report weight changes to the nurse and supervisor.
• Monitor skin condition and report pressure areas, skin breakdown, or skin tears.
• Support nursing staff with toileting program activities.
• Complete daily flow sheets and document resident progress as directed.
• Keep nurses and supervisors informed of factors that interfere with assigned work, such as resident refusal or reassignment.
• Report changes in resident condition promptly to the resident's nurse and supervisor.

Qualifications

• 1 year of LTC experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Travel experience required.
• BLS certification from AHA required.
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification/license in Michigan, active at time of submission.
• Work history showing successful assignments longer than 13 weeks.
• No disciplinary action in effect against your certification.
• Skills checklist specific to your discipline within the last year.
• 2 supervisory references from the last 2 years of employment.
• Resume with permanent address included.
• Must be willing to float to other units as needed.
