Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours guaranteed per week, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 60

Candidate Pay Rate: $59.50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
• Assess patient needs and deliver skilled nursing services
• Administer medications, treatments, and patient education
• Evaluate care plans and recommend updates with the interdisciplinary team
• Delegate and oversee support staff while acting as a team leader
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish patient goals and outcomes
• Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and hospital regulations

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan
• 2+ years of Med Surg experience
• Pediatric experience required
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Epic experience highly preferred
• Must live more than 50 miles from Alma, MI due to facility radius restriction
• Current skills checklist and two supervisory reference forms
• Work history ready to share

Education

• (20%)*
• Evaluates effectiveness of treatment plan and makes suggestions or participates in
• updating/revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members, utilizing current information to improve patient care.
• (10%)*
• The RN is knowledgeable and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations and guidelines as well as hospital specific policies and procedures relating to care provided in the medical center
