Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with patient care and orthodontic procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Fit and adjust orthodontic appliances, wires, and bands
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable during visits

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant Certification required
• Orthodontic assisting experience preferred
• Must be certified to work as an orthodontic assistant
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work per diem shifts
• Comfortable supporting orthodontic procedures
