Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct pharmaceutical care, including medication selection, dosing, monitoring, and patient education
• Lead the development and implementation of ED-specific medication protocols and quality initiatives
• Participate in emergency response situations such as code blue, trauma, and stroke alerts
• Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents, helping shape the next generation of clinicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes in urgent and emergent care scenarios
• Participate on medical staff and hospital-wide committees to support patient safety and care excellence

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program
• Kansas Pharmacist License or eligibility for licensure
• Clinical or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Residency training preferred
• Emergency Department experience preferred
• Must be willing to relocate to Salina, KS for this on-site role

Education
