Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver top notch preventive dental care that keeps patients smiling
• Perform thorough cleanings, scaling, and polishing with a gentle touch
• Take dental radiographs and help the dentist spot issues early
• Educate patients on oral hygiene habits they can actually stick with
• Chart patient conditions accurately and keep treatment notes clear
• Partner with the dental team to keep appointments running smoothly

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a dental team
• Great communication skills and a warm chairside manner

Knowledge & Skills

• Preventive dental care techniques
• Dental radiography and imaging
• Patient education and oral health coaching
• Infection control and sterilization standards
• Electronic health record documentation
