Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate occupational therapy services to patients primarily ages 0 to 3 in the Infant Child Development program
• Assess and support children showing delays or deficits in daily living activities, play, neuromuscular, sensory-integrative, cognitive, or psychosocial abilities
• Plan, organize and implement occupational therapy services for patients and their families
• Conduct comprehensive assessments that guide each child's care journey
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child and family
• Deliver and document services with accuracy and heart
• Educate and consult with families so they feel confident supporting progress at home
• Coordinate discharge and transition planning that sets families up for long term success

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy (required)
• Active Kansas Occupational Therapy License (required)
• Valid Kansas Driver's License (documentation required)
• One year of pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred
• Basic Life Support certification from American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or American Heart Association Health Care Provider, completed within the first 90 days of employment

Education

• Bachelors of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy [REQUIRED]
• Minimum Experience One year of experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred [PREFERRED]
• One year of experience in pediatric occupational therapy preferred [PREFERRED]
• Required Registration/License/Certification Kansas Occupational Therapy License [REQUIRED]Valid Kansas Driver’s License [DOCUMENT]Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment.
