Roles & Responsibilities

• Optimize and support pharmacy informatics systems, technologies, and workflows across Salina Regional and affiliated locations
• Enhance medication safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance through smart system use and continuous improvement
• Support and help manage drug diversion monitoring programs and tools
• Contribute to the integrity of the medication-use process and supply chain
• Provide patient-centered pharmaceutical care, including dispensing and drug information, in accordance with hospital standards and pharmacy law
• Partner with clinical and IT teams to keep automation, smart pump technology, and barcoding systems running smoothly
• Shape the future of pharmacy operations by turning clinical expertise into technology-driven solutions

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program is required
• Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience is required
• ASHP-accredited residency is preferred
• Board Certification in Pharmacy Informatics (BCPIS) or a related certification is preferred
• Experience in pharmacy automation, informatics, or IT applications is preferred
• Knowledge of EHRs, medication-use systems, and regulatory requirements for controlled substances is a plus
• Current Kansas Pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure is highly preferred
