Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents and patients throughout your shift
• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and report changes to the nursing team
• Help patients stay mobile, comfortable, and safe, including repositioning and transfers
• Keep patient care areas clean, organized, and welcoming
• Communicate clearly with nurses, staff, and families to keep everyone on the same page
• Bring a calm, kind presence that helps patients feel at ease

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in North Carolina
• Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Completed original or updated COVID-19 vaccination, or a documented religious or medical exemption
• State or federal issued identification and a photo badge required at all times
• Prior CNA experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus
• A genuine passion for caring for others and a dependable work ethic

• Strong patient care and ADL support skills
• Comfortable taking and recording vital signs
• Sharp observation skills and attention to detail
• Clear, friendly communication with patients and teammates
• Ability to stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment
• Team player mindset with a compassionate heart
