Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for orthodontic procedures
• Assist the orthodontist with patient care and chairside procedures
• Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic care
• Maintain accurate patient records and charts
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certification required
• Orthodontic assisting experience preferred
• Maryland dental assistant certification or registration as applicable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team
