Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients in the Cardiovascular Lab
• Support the psychosocial, physical and general care needs of patients in the surgical environment
• Communicate continuously with physicians about patient condition and procedure needs
• Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
• Continuously monitor and document patient condition throughout their time in the Cath Lab
• Assess procedure room and equipment readiness so every case starts smoothly
• Obtain supplies for individual cases and keep the Cardiovascular Lab team fully equipped
• Maintain equipment and inventory to keep the lab running at its best
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nursing (RN) license in the state of New Jersey, required
• Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification upon hire, and keep them current
• One (1) year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work, or in a Critical Care area, required
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but your hands-on experience matters most
• Comfort caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
