Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional emergency nursing care to patients with urgent and critical needs
• Triage patients quickly and accurately to prioritize care and save precious minutes
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions with precision and compassion
• Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and the care team to build the best outcomes
• Respond calmly and confidently to rapidly changing patient situations
• Educate patients and families while offering reassurance during stressful moments

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing, verifiable through Nursys
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• NRP certification as applicable
• Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
• Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or a valid attestation of vaccination or declination
• Ability to attend orientation on 9/14 and work the strike on 9/15

Education

• New candidates need to be able to attend orientation on 9/14 as well as work the strike on 9/15.
