Shift Type: Day shifts, Monday-Friday with typical Cath Lab hours of 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, plus on-call rotation as scheduled by the department

Roles & Responsibilities

• Scrub in and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment to capture accurate pressures and waveforms
• Prepare the Cath Lab suite, equipment and supplies before each case
• Support physicians and nurses during invasive cardiology procedures from start to finish
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety standards every single case
• Document procedural data accurately in the cardiovascular information system
• Help patients feel calm and cared for before, during and after their procedure
• Troubleshoot equipment and communicate issues quickly to keep the lab running smoothly

Qualifications

• ARRT-R credential plus a license as required by the State, or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab is preferred but we would love to hear about your year in the field
• Completion of a Cardiovascular Technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring is preferred
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained throughout your assignment
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire, so plan for a quick certification step
• Proficient computer skills to document and navigate the lab systems
• Current health documentation including vaccinations and screenings on file before start
